VBS on the Road

VBS on the Road was a great success on Saturday, June 29 at Kutner Park. FUMC served 25 children from the Providence Elementary community and their families. Thanks is extended to all of the FUMC volunteers. We are grateful to Eileen Payne for assisting in Spanish interpretation and Jim Conklin and the UMM Fellowship for coming out to grill. Special thanks to Charlie and Grace Woodberry for acting out the story of the Good Samaritan. The children and families enjoyed crafts, bubbles, puppetry, volleyball and lots of great fellowship. It was a great sense of community and sharing. Be watching for our next Back-to-School event on August 17th!
