Congregational Care

I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.

Congregational Care Pillar

The Congregational Care Pillar supports the FUMC pastors in planning and organizing support of the church community. Members serve in many ways, including sending cards, making calls, delivering meals and Communion, providing rides, visiting those who need some love and company, and more. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, contact Reverend Pamela Kipps.

Women in Prayer

On the second Thursday of every month from 12:30-1:30 pm, women of Fairfax UMC gather for conversation and laughter, and to pray over their families, church, community, and world. If you would like to be part of this special group, contact Leslie Carter for more information. The group meets monthly on Zoom and welcomes women of all ages, and with all types of life experiences.

Sanctuary Helpers

One way we get ready for worship on Sunday is making sure the Sanctuary is ready. If you have free time during the week to stock the pews, pick up any loose papers and straighten the hymnals, this is the job for you! Contact Pastor Pamela Kipps to be placed on the schedule.

Volunteers for Memorial & Funeral Services

Caring individuals are needed to assist with ushering, greeting and occasional receptions. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Sue Almond.
