Introducing Rev. Minoo W. Kim, Pastor for FUMC Multi-Site

Bishop Sharma Lewis has projected the appointment of Rev. Minoo W. Kim to be the pastor for FUMC’s Multi-Site project. Minoo is a fourth generation pastor in the Methodist tradition. He is a graduate of McLean High School, received his undergraduate degree from Emory University and completed his Master of Divinity at Duke Divinity School. Currently, Minoo is the Associate Pastor at Church of the Good Shepherd, Dale City. Minoo is also newly married; he and Grace were married in January 2018. Grace currently works in social policy research with education. Minoo will be assembling the launch team and officially be onboard at Fairfax on July 1, 2018. FUMC will have lots of opportunities to meet Minoo and Grace in the months to come.

How can you help Minoo and the Multi-Site Mission? Right now, I am assembling a team of Prayer Partners. These Partners covenant to pray for Minoo, Grace and the Multi-Site daily in their own, personal prayer time. Secondly, there will be gatherings for Minoo and Grace to meet with the Prayer Partners to pray as a group. The power of prayer is the greatest asset we can provide Minoo and this mission!
