Lenten Sermon Series: Let Us Heal

Sundays in Lent, In-person and livestreamed at 9:30am

This five-week sermon series focuses on areas of healing during Lent: our relationships with God and others, ourselves, our communities, and the world. Come be encouraged and challenged as you grow in your faith this Lenten season.

Lenten Devotional

Available in the church office and the Narthex, or email Pastor Pamela to have a copy mailed to you

Each year, the Christian church journeys through the season of Lent: 40 days of prayer, fasting, and self-reflection that begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Saturday. You’re invited to spend those 40 days with our Lord by reading 40 Days with Jesus: Celebrating His Presence, a daily Lenten devotional book by Sarah Young, author of the bestselling devotionals Jesus Calling and Jesus Listens, which have helped millions deepen their relationship with Christ. We hope this resource will help you experience His presence like never before.

Holy Week Services

Palm Sunday

March 24, In-person and livestreamed at 9:30am

On Palm Sunday, March 24, the Chancel Choir will present “Lenten Sketches,” composed by Joseph Martin. This incredible work is a series of tableaus illustrating the pivotal final days of Christ’s earthly ministry: the triumphal entry, the Last Supper, the Garden of Gethesemane, and the crucifixion. These events have inspired artists through the ages, and their wonderful creations in turn inspire this Lenten cantata, which will prepare our hearts for Holy Week.

Table to Cross Service

March 28, In-person and livestreamed at 7:00pm

On Thursday, March 28, at 7:00pm, we gather to shift our gaze from the table to the cross as we remember the events leading up to the crucifixion. Journey with us from Jesus’ final meal with his disciples to his death on the cross in one moving service.

Stations of the Cross

March 29, Offered in the Sanctuary between 7:00am and 7:00pm

Stations of the Cross returns on Good Friday, March 29. This transformative, self-directed experience is available to everyone at any time between 7:00am and 7:00pm. Come visit the fourteen stations and be reminded of the final hours of Jesus’ life as you contemplate the images, read the Scriptures and devotions, and pray the provided prayers. Stay as long as you would like, and plan to leave with a renewed appreciation for all Christ has done for you.
