On July 16, Fairfax UMC offers the second free workshop on Alzheimer’s and Dementia, presented by volunteers from the Alzheimer’s Association. Even if you didn’t come to the first part of the workshop, you’re welcome to attend this one, which covers the topics of Effective Communication Strategies and Understanding and Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors. The workshop is scheduled for 10:30am, right after church, in the Fellowship Hall, and will include refreshments. It’s is open to everyone, including guests and drop-ins, but we invite you to help us plan seats and refreshments by clicking here to register.
