As families in our community struggle financially, many students find themselves in need of hygiene supplies. Fairfax City schools maintain a hygiene pantry to help these students, and Fairfax UMC is collecting items to help support the students and families of Providence Elementary and Katherine Johnson Middle School. We invite you to drop off donations of toothpaste and toothbrushes, mouthwash, deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, body wash and bar soap, acne facial wash, body lotion or cream, lip balm, detergent, and dishwasher soap in the blue bins in the Narthex starting Sunday, June 28. The supply drive runs through Sunday, August 16, after which collected items will be delivered to the schools prior to the start of the new school year.
