An event every month that begins at 8:00 am on day Fourth of the month, repeating indefinitely
On the fourth Thursday of each month, individuals from Fairfax UMC provide lunch for the guests of the Lamb Center. The Lamb Center is a local ministry that provides important services to the local homeless population such as meals, showers, clothing and other social services. We are looking for individuals who will purchase (reimbursement is provided by the church), prepare, and deliver labeled sandwiches (such as turkey, ham, chicken etc.), chips, fruit, veggies, and bottles of juice for 50 guests. The meal must be delivered to the Lamb Center by 11:00 am on the fourth Thursday of the month. You are not required to enter the Lamb Center; volunteers will come and retrieve the meals from your vehicle. This is a great service opportunity for individuals or families looking for a way to serve! if you would like to participate in the Lamb Center Lunch Ministry please use the link below to sign up. If you have any questions, contact Kyle Johnson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
