Palm Sunday
March 28, In-person at 9:30am and online service available
Palm Sunday is a service that marks the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem with the waving of palm branches. A special musical experience for in-person and online worship is offered to remind us that Jesus is indeed worthy of being praised, celebrated and declared Lord of our lives.
Holy Thursday
April 1, online service only
Each year on Holy Thursday, the Christian church remembers Christ’s final meal with his disciples before his journey to the cross. This year FUMC is offering an online service only that includes Holy Communion. Those participating in the service are invited to have the Communion elements of bread and juice ready to consume at the designated time in the service.
Good Friday
April 2, A Service of Tenebrae, In-person and online service
On Good Friday, the church gathers to remember the suffering and sacrifice of Christ on the cross with a service of readings, music, prayers, and gradual darkness. This year, the church offers a traditional Good Friday worship experience in-person at 7:00pm as well as an online service at our website and on YouTube for those unable to attend in person.
