Good Friday (Tenebrae)

April 10 @ 7:30 pm - 8:00 pm

A modified Tenebrae service of scripture and music will be posted on the website and on Facebook. The service of Tenebrae is an ancient Christian Good Friday service that uses gradually diminishing light through the extinguishing of candles to symbolize the events of the week from the triumphant Palm Sunday entry through the burial of Jesus. The word “tenebrae” is from the Latin, meaning “darkness.” As we continue our walk through the Holy Week, be a part of this online service to remember Christ’s sacrifice on the cross through readings, music and prayers.
