Fairfax UMC is blessed to have three teams of volunteers who serve on our Worship, Mission, and Learning Pillars. Thanks to their involvement, we are able to plan and organize great worship, mission, and learning opportunities for our beloved congregation. As our church and nation emerge from the pandemic, it has become increasingly clear that this church would also be blessed by a Congregational Care Pillar, which would support our pastors in planning and organizing support of our members in the areas of sending cards, making phone calls, providing meals and rides, making blankets, and prayer shawls, and reaching out during times of celebration and difficulty. If you are interested in being involved in a Congregation Care Pillar, please come to our interest meeting on November 6 in the Sanctuary right after the worship service. At that meeting, Reverend Bonney and Reverend Kipps will share the ideas that they and our Church Leadership Team have explored related to forming a new pillar.
