After 45 years of faithful service to Fairfax United Methodist Church (her entire career!), Libby Barricks is stepping into a well-deserved retirement at the end of January. If you would like to help FUMC show our appreciation for her many years of ministry to our church family, you are invited to participate in the 45 Days of Gratitude. Sign up for your day to do something special for Libby and bring your token of appreciation to the church office. This could be a note, a small gift, something for retirement — whatever you think will best thank Libby for her hard work and faithful service.
If possible, please bring your token prior to your day and make sure it’s labeled with the day you’ve signed up for. If you can’t bring it in person, you can mail your token of appreciation to the church at 10300 Stratford Avenue, Fairfax, Virginia 22030, attention Pamela Kipps. The church hopes to spoil her with thoughtful reminders of how much her dedication to FUMC has meant to this church. More details are available on the sign-up link: Fairfax UMC: 45 Days of Gratitude for Libby Barricks (signupgenius.com).
In addition, if you would like to participate in the love gift to be presented to Libby on Sunday, January 23, please contact Rev. David Bonney at firstname.lastname@example.org. Let’s send Libby off into retirement with a heart filled with love from her church!
